We ask that you apply only if you are a competitive female volleyball player entering Grade 10-12. We are only looking for unsigned athletes to participate in this opportunity. New for 2026, we will host the Junior Futures Camp for Athletes playing in U14 & U15 for the 2026/2027 season.
Why should I apply?
This is an opportunity for you to take your game to the next level and get noticed by a College or University coach. We have many coaches excited to see the young future talent and are using this camp as a recruitment tool. You will also make new friendships, meet new coaches and play at an elite level to prepare you for your high school season and beyond.
Who will be selected?
We have a selection committee reviewing all applications. These committee members are not affiliated with any club or school and will select based on the information presented and the video submitted by the applicant. College and University coaches will also be inviting athletes they want to see play.
Why was I given an information card at Nationals?
We have our team members and selection committee watching at Nationals. If they see you play and think you would be a good fit, they will give you an information card on how to apply.
Do I have to live in Edmonton to be considered?
No! We are interested in the Top Elite Athletes in Canada.
How can I get more information?
Come visit us at the Jumplete booth during Nationals, and one of our team members will discuss any questions you may have. Or send us an email Futures@jumplete.com
How are athletes placed on teams?
Athletes will be assessed during our Evaluation Combine on Monday morning based on their desired position. We will measure all athletes' height, reach, standing jump, and spike jump. We will also measure agility and serve speed. Athletes will also get evaluated on their skills and gameplay. Each athlete will get a report on their metrics to keep, which will also be shared with the College Coaches in attendance.

The Futures Camp is a five-day immersive volleyball experience designed to develop individual skills and enhance high-level team play.
The camp kicks off on Monday morning with a comprehensive evaluation and Combine session, where players are timed, measured, and tested. Based on these assessments, athletes are selected by experienced coaches and placed into teams of 10, grouped by position. Each team remains together for the duration of the camp, fostering chemistry and consistent coaching.
Daily programming includes full-court team practices, afternoon scrimmages, and off-court development sessions. These sessions feature recruiting seminars led by local college representatives, nutrition workshops, and team meetings with coaches.
Each team is assigned a dedicated head coach for the week, ensuring personalized feedback and ongoing skill development.
The camp concludes on Friday with a full-day tournament, where all participants receive medals. College and university coaches are invited to attend and evaluate players during gameplay. Between matches, coaches will also have opportunities to meet and speak with athletes. The day wraps up with a celebratory pasta lunch.
